Katlyn Leid, LCSW
As Executive Director, Katlyn brings a unique combination of nonprofit development experience, clinical expertise, leadership training, and a passion for meeting the evolving needs of individuals and communities.
Katlyn earned her Master of Social Work (MSW) from Florida State University, along with a certificate in Leadership in Executive and Administrative Development. Prior to becoming a clinical therapist, she spent several years working in nonprofit development, gaining valuable experience in organizational growth, relationship building, and mission-driven leadership.
Her experience spans both micro- and macro-level social work, with a particular passion for macro practice, research, program development, and addressing community needs. She believes meaningful change requires listening to communities, understanding the systems that influence people's lives, and developing thoughtful, sustainable solutions.
As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Certified Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CAADC), she brings extensive experience working in behavioral health and recovery, including several years in outpatient and residential substance use treatment as well as outpatient mental health therapy. Her clinical experience has provided a whole-person perspective and a deeper understanding of how trauma, addiction, mental health, relationships, and broader social systems intersect in people’s lives.
Grounded in a faith-based perspective, Katlyn believes every individual has inherent worth and the capacity for growth and transformation. She is committed to leading with compassion, integrity, and curiosity while strengthening partnerships, responding to emerging needs, and advancing the organization's mission.
